Bloomington, IN

I love me some WFHB Community Radio. I first stepped into the station back in 1997 and my involvement spans at least a decade. I am currently a DJ/Music Programmer and part of the interview team for "Firehouse Sessions,” interviews and performances with visiting artists. My show is on Mondays, 6-8am EST bi-weekly under LowRain (Loraine Martin). I am also a community collaborator, and often bridge connections with the station and our strong music/creative community here in Bloomington and beyond. I also started a side biz called Lowdown Sounds, which was inspired from a radio show I had of the same name back in the day on WFHB ("the creative mind-flow of free form programming). Lowdown Sounds a further reach in my role as a music presenter and event maker spreading love of craft beer, boss art and outdoor enthusiasms. In the past I have also served as Special Events Coordinator, Concert Promoter, Alternative Music Director, and CD review team for WFHB. I also work for the Lotus Education & Arts Foundation as the outreach director since 2012, widely known for our annual Lotus World Music & Arts Festival and Lotus Blossoms' programs.
