Richard "The Buzzman" Kadzis

Richard Kadzis, a.k.a. The Buzzman, is a long-time radio fanatic whose career included stints as New England correspondent for NPR's All Things Considered. He also served as associate news director at WBUR-FM in Boston, an NPR member station. He also worked as a WBUR's statehouse beat reporter, covered the anti-nuclear movement and the federal lawsuit that banned oil drilling off the coast of Massachusetts. The Buzzman co-founded WCNI-FM, a New London CT-based community radio station on the campus of Connecticut College. The station is still broadcasting more than 45 years later. Since joining the DJ team at KBUT-FM in 2015, the Buzzman has contributed more than 100 on-air hours delivering programming across multiple genres: rock, blues, jazz, bluegrass, Reggae, R&B, Americana and more. His show, "The Altitude Adjustment," airs Monday 10am - Noon Mountain time. He holds a Masters in Mass Communication from Boston University and has been quoted and published widely in media globally, mainly through his corporate communications career involvements.
